Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet show off vibrant red hair in new Christmas card with parents Prince Harry and Meghan Markle

The Christmas card for 2024 has been made public by the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

A charming picture of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle cuddling their two kids, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, was one of six personal photos on a forest green background that were part of their festive design.

The children looked adorable in the photo as they joyfully rushed into their parents’ open arms. Archie, five, looked dapper in jeans and a khaki jumper, while Lilibet, three, wore a summer dress. Their vibrant red hair nonetheless stole the show, with Lilibet sporting long auburn locks.

The innocent photo looks a lot like a sweet photo of Princess Diana welcoming her sons Prince William and Prince Harry on the deck of the Royal Yacht Britannia while she was in Canada during an official visit. Taken in 1991, the uncanny image shows Diana, Princess of Wales warmly embracing the sibling duo with a broad grin etched across her face.

The family portrait also included Meghan and Harry’s three dogs. The couple’s three adorable pets are two Beagles named Guy and Mamma Mia, and a black Labrador named Pula. In 2022, they welcomed Mamma Mia, their newest member.

Elsewhere, the couple posted pictures from their recent travels, such as pictures from their August trip to Colombia and pictures from their most recent trip to Nigeria.

They included a heartwarming Christmas message which read: “On behalf of the office of Prince Harry and Meghan, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. Archewell Productions and Archewell Foundations. We wish you a very Happy Holiday Season and a joyful new year.”

Archie and Lilibet last appeared on their parents’ Christmas card in 2021, when they were featured in a gorgeous portrait by Alexi Lubomirski, who was Harry and Meghan’s wedding photographer. Meghan was seen in the adorable photo holding up Lilibet, who was six months old at the time, while Harry, the proud father, grinned with his little son Archie.

The message on the card read: “Happy Holidays. This year, 2021, we welcomed our daughter, Lilibet, to the world. Archie made us a ‘Mama’ and a ‘Papa’, and Lili made us a family.”

Although the couple’s plans for the holiday season are unknown, Meghan’s mother, Doria Ragland, who lives two hours away from the Sussexes in View Park-Windsor Hills, Louisiana, is probably going to join them.

Meghan revealed to Marie Claire last month that Archie and Lilibet don’t include “carrots for the reindeer” in their family’s Christmas customs. Meanwhile, Harry disclosed that his family continues to observe some of the royal family’s customs in his memoir, Spare.

“It was Christmas Eve. We FaceTimed with several friends, including a few in Britain. We watched Archie running around the tree. And we opened presents. Keeping to the Windsor family tradition,” he wrote.
